A private celebration of life service is being planned. Donations can be made in Suzanne’s memory to: the Humane Society (1225 N Collet St, Danville, IL 61832) or Immasuzanne carson 2nuel Lutheran Church (1930 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832).

Suzanne, 88, was born Elizabeth Suzanne Klampper on February 11, 1928, in Cleveland, OH. She was the daughter of Dr. John Einar and Elva Lucille Wannamaugher Klampper. Suzanne attended Danville High School, Case Western Reserve, and Purdue University. She married Joseph Albert Carson on August 19, 1950 in Danville. IL. Suzanne was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Danville, IL. Suzanne passed away peacefully at the home of her son JB (Julie) Carson on Monday, April 25, 2016, surrounded by family, and ascended to the arms of her Lord and Savior.

Suzanne was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Suzanne’s kindness touched each life of those blessed to know her. Her gentleness extended and reflected in her love of dogs, that she called the angels in our midst. She will be loved and missed, but in our hearts forever.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister-in-law Mary Carson Hensold, and son-in-law Dale Addington. She is survived by her three children; Tammi Addington of Findlay, OH, Eve Carson of Indianapolis, IN, and JB (Julie) Carson of Indianapolis, IN. She is survived by seven grandchildren; Stephen Addington, Dr. James (Leslie) Addington, Polly Webster (Tanner) Daniel, Audrey Webster, Dr. Jennifer Carson, Whitney Carson, Abbey Carson, and one great-grandson Hudson Addington. A great-granddaughter Addington and grand son-in-law Scott (Whitney) Schleiffarth will join Suzanne’s legacy later this year. Suzanne is also survived by her brother-in-law Dr. Bill (Jane) Hensold, nephews and niece Tom (Diane) Hensold, Dr. Jim (Lori) Hensold, Joe (Margie) Hensold, Molly Hensold (Jon) Stern, and their extended families.

Suzanne’s children thank Seasons Hospice and the caregivers with Heart in Hand who supported the family and cared lovingly for our Mother during her transition.
